Traces/The Wall
Two sequences of black&white photographs narrate and choreograph the grim topography that is and surrounds the separation wall being built by the Israeli government. The photographs capture the transformation of the soil, nature, landscape and stone into a massive concrete construction. The wall itself looms like an ominous creature, a huge monster, leaving destruction in its wake, transforming its surroundings into an even more pronounced landscape of fear and imprisonment.
