This globe raises the question of the way we perceive the space we live in. Thanks to our knowledge of geography we realize that we are living on a sphere, but what is our relation to this dumb object? Our attitude towards it is coloured by culture and imagination; some will manipulate it until they can find some familiar land-marks, others will see in it a thirst for moons, but the sphere will continue to propose knowledge, desire, wind, and beauty. What matters is that aesthetically it should represent a real space.
