This work focuses on some "marginal" visual aspects of our surrounding and their influence on us. Everything around us contains different kinds of information (audio, visual, emotional information). In this work I am trying to convert visual information into sound information. In other words, I am trying to listen to the voice of the mountains. I took the shape of the Aragats Mountain (it is the highest mountain in Armenia and can be seen from the window of my studio) as a vector of sound and converted it into sound with the help of audio-technical equipment. At the Thessaloniki biennale I will be presenting another transformation of the previous work: I recorded street noise in Yerevan and took pictures from those same places. I then converted the sound of the noise into a vector and made a visual landscape by using the photos (distorting them, giving them the shape of the vector).
