“Under the influence of Michel Foucault’s text “Heterotopias” and having as a starting point the Navarino Square, we traced a philosophical root based on the notion of symposiums deriving from ancient Greece and the summer resorts of Galerios up to today’s symposium-like structures in the contemporary version of the square with its coffee houses and the taverns which can be interpreted as receptors of the inspiration and the motive which is socially articulated with the euphoria caused usually by wine drinking.
We conducted a philosophical agenda, which is inspired from Hölderlin, Camus, Sartre, Foucault, Becket, Wittggenstein up to Zisi Kotioni, Taki Simota and Dimitri Dimitriadi.”
